Petar Grkinic

REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST | CLINIC DIRECTOR

Petar completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Since graduating, he has focused his practice on working with high-performance athletes and individuals with complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Petar has advanced training in manual therapy, the McKenzie Method, concussion management, and TMJ treatment. His competitive background in soccer and karate, along with his final internship at the Toronto FC Academy, has shaped his approach to elite-level sports rehabilitation and performance.

Petar currently serves as Director of Rehabilitation for Toronto United FC, a competitive soccer club dedicated to player development. Petar’s role with the organization is ensuring the players rehabilitate from sports injuries, return to playing post-injury, and maintain optimal function while reducing injury risk. His role there also entailed baseline testing, strength & conditioning, and on-field injury management. Similarly, he has been the lead onsite physiotherapist for Barcelona FC’s Toronto camp for youth in 2024. Petar has also provided consultation and private rehabilitation sessions for players in the CSL, CPL, and CIS leagues.

In the clinic, Petar treats orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan. He places a strong emphasis on patient education and collaborative goal-setting, believing that informed and engaged patients achieve better, longer-lasting outcomes.
